ISO character codes
Some characters are not available on a keyboard, or sometimes the character would normally be part of an HTML element. To use these characters you would normally replace them with an entity reference code. Below is a list of different character sets that are used within HTML and other Web languages.
- Standard character set (ISO 8859-1)
- Latin extended character sets (A and B)
- Space modifiers and general punctuation
- Greek characters
- "Letter-like" symbols
- Arrow characters
- Mathematical operators
- Technical symbols
- Geometric shapes and miscellaneous symbols
